Website Developer/Programmer - January 2012 |
|
We're looking for a freelance Joomla programmer to form a long-term relationship with. We typically create or work on 6-8 websites a year for clients, with additional maintenance and upgrade on occasion. We need a programmer/developer who can not only create Joomla templates from our PSD designs, but also configure and customize all manner of existing Joomla extensions, including complex components like Community Builder and VirtueMart on occasion. No text content would be created, in fact, pages would only need to be created to ensure the template works and the menu structure is setup. My company will handle all the content. Full websites would be handled via flat-rate quotations. All other work, including small fixes, problem solving, browser compatibility, etc. will be billed hourly. Most of the work will be virtual, meaning the employee works from home or wherever else they want to hang out. We'll meet weekly (at least) for in-person meetings to check progress and work on projects. Meetings will likely occur in neutral, central locations on the north side of Columbus. We will collaborate using e-mail, Google Docs, Google Talk and other established means of communication and collaboration. Applications MUST be very well versed in HTML, CSS, and Joomla 1.5+. Familiarity with PHP and Java is a real plus.
